Bio in english (long version)

Bertrand Jouvenot is a French consultant, interim manager, author, lecturer and keynote speaker specialising in business transformation at the intersection of business, organisations and technology.

His career has spanned thirty years and several successive waves of technological and business transformation. He began his career in 1996 at Club-Internet, during the early days of the consumer Internet and e-commerce in France, before joining Alcatel, where he worked on the international development of new Internet-related products. From 2000 onwards, he worked within PPR, now Kering, on the development of e-commerce across several of the group’s brands.

He subsequently held marketing and digital responsibilities at Celio before joining fashion house Cerruti as Marketing and Communications Director. He later worked in consulting and transformation programme management, including at Pixmania, before becoming Chief Digital Officer at Altares, where he led a portfolio of 21 digital transformation initiatives.

These experiences have given him first-hand involvement in successive transformations driven by the Internet, e-commerce, marketing, digital technology, data and, today, artificial intelligence. Throughout his career, his focus has remained the same: turning technological and business change into operational results. He now advises companies and executives on their transformations, from strategic diagnosis and framing through to execution.

Bertrand Jouvenot holds an Executive MBA in Global Fashion Management from the Institut Français de la Mode. He has been teaching since 1997, covering marketing, digital transformation and changes in business and management across business schools, fashion schools and higher education institutions.

He is the author of around ten books on marketing, digital transformation and management, including Journal de BJ au bureau, Managing Softly, Mode & Internet: le marketing épinglé, Les dessous du Web, Le digital à toutes les sauces, Dopez votre stratégie digitale, the 500 Réflexions Digitales series and Manager aujourd’hui: les 25 nouvelles tendances. Several of his books have been translated and published internationally.

He also writes articles and opinion pieces on business transformation, marketing, digital technology, management and artificial intelligence. His work has appeared in Le Monde, the World Economic Forum, Les Echos, Harvard Business Review France, Forbes, Stratégies and Journal du Net.
